樂趣系列：「無界．無間」音樂會 'Beyond Boundary, Beyond Time'

Boundaries define nation and culture, time define period and genre. In Hong Kong, the mix of oriental and western culture has always been the most iconic feature among the global community. Over the years, the concept of boundaries and time are twisted within the culture in one of the most unique ways.
In this concert, featuring the two promising artists from Hong Kong, Chan Pik Sum (Erhu) and Cy Leo (Harmonica), boundaries will be challenged, time will be bent. Apart from an unprecedented cross-over between the Erhu and the Harmonica, both artists are bringing their own band from Hong Kong to showcase their music. Introduced by Bik Sum, a mixture of Guangdong music, Canto music and Western music will be performed together with Yangqin, Cello, Keyboard and Drum. They are also world premiering two pieces of music, ‘The beauty of the fish village’ and the ‘Folk Suite’. Meanwhile, Cy Leo will be performing with his 4-piece band, including the Guitar, Bass, Keyboard and Drum. He has selected a repertoire of timeless movie music, classical music and pop music. However, his groundbreaking twist and rearrangement on these popular tunes might completely alter your definition towards ‘genre and boundaries’.

疆界定義國家與文化，時間定義音樂時期與曲風。香港是一個中西文化交融的城市，在這個地方，「疆界」和「時間」都彷彿成為了另外一個專屬香港的字。
在這場演奏會中，二胡家陳璧沁和口琴家何卓彥將會透過自己的音樂，突破界限，跨越時間。除了一次二胡與口琴史無前例的合作，他們各自亦帶同了自己的團隊，自己的音樂，展現香港年青音樂家的創意與魅力。當晚，陳璧沁將會首先連同揚琴、大提琴、鋼琴和敲擊樂，演出數首廣東音樂、香港樂曲、世界民謠和西方音樂。其中兩首，「漁港如畫」和「世界民謠組曲」，更會是全新編曲，世界首演。此外，何卓彥亦會連同他的樂隊包括結他、低音結他、電子琴和爵士鼓，把一系列著名的電影音樂、古典音樂和流行音樂改頭換面，徹底打破疆界和時間的限制。
